Here for sale we have a Gibson Les Paul 1958 Reissue from 2001. Built in the USA this guitar features a 8.7lbs Mahogany body with carved Flamed Maple top, a set Mahogany neck with ‘Chunky C’ and 22 fret bound Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Vintage Trapezoid inlays, Single-ply Cream binding, Nickel hardware, Gibson Deluxe tuners, an ABR-1 bridge, and an Aluminium stopbar.
The Chunky Mahogany neck fits the hand perfectly and is great to grip. The Nitro finish to the rear provides a traditional feel while helping the hand transition up and down the neck. The cutaway makes for unobstructed access to the higher register. The frets and 12" radius provide a robust and smooth playing experience all across the Rosewood fingerboard, and enhance string bending and vibrato techniques.
The PAF pickups in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied authentic tones just as you would expect. Both pickups provide ultra-rich harmonic quality. The neck is round and powerful, and can handle plenty of gain for saturated lead tones. The bridge is of course brighter, and with a higher output can easily push your amp into a harmonically rich & searing distortion tone which is perfect for rock rhythm parts and riffs. The traditional control layout is as practical and comprehensive as ever, with the pots responding well to small changes for easy tweaking of your tone while playing.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
