Here for sale we have a G&L Tribute ASAT Classic Bluesboy Electric Guitar in Lake Placid Blue finish. Made in Indonesia in 2012, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Nickel hardware, a Traditional Boxed-Steel bridge with individual Brass saddles and sealed tuning machines. A Leo Fender designed G&L MFD single-coil pickup is installed in the bridge position, with a G&L AS4255C Alnico humbucker in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Medium 'C' profile working in conjunction with the Gloss finished rear to provide a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. It's certainly a profile that most players will get along with- thin enough for speedy runs and articulate lines whilst still providing enough chunkiness and character for chord playing and riffing. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lines and string bending. 
 
The AS4255C Alnico humbucker in the neck delivers a thick and full tone, perfect for punchy overdriven blues riffs. This pickup can handle an impressive amount of gain too, saturating into full bodied distortion as you drive the amp. The bridge position is particularly bright and twangy, as you would expect from this type of guitar. It cuts through the mix nicely, offering a rock solid platform for country licks.
