Here for sale we have a Fret King Partscaster Stratocaster in Sunburst finish. Due to the nature of this instrument we can not verify certain parts of this instrument like the body wood, year it was made, where it was made and the make of the pickups. This instrument features a bolt-on construction consisting of a Fret King Maple neck with 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. The guitar is equipped with a Wilkinson WVPC-SB Tremolo, Gotoh locking tuning machines with one aftermarket locking machine. The pickups featured are a set of high quality hand wound vintage style pickups which are wired to a 5-way blade selector, master volume and two tone controls.
The Maple neck with its ‘Soft C’ profile sits comfortably in the hand, and with its Gloss finish allows for quick and easy navigation of the neck and ergonomic thumb positioning. The 10" radius and medium jumbo fret wire provides a great playing surface allowing for bending and vibrato techniques, whilst offering a nice balance between comfortable chording and practicality for lead lines. The double cutaway body design provides excellent access to the upper frets, perfect for those quick lead lines.
Amplified, all of the Strat sounds you would expect are present in spades. The hand wound vintage style pickups offer warmth and clarity, and saturates beautifully when you drive the amp. The bridge pickup sounds bright and glistening with plenty of spank, power chords sound gritty, whilst also providing soaring lead tones. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup sits great with a nice balance of bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup is smooth, with a beautiful warm, rounded tone that handles distorted tones well.

Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future work the new owner may wish to perform.
