Here for sale we have a Fret-King Esprit lll Green Label Series electric guitar in Transparent Black finish. Fret-King Green Label series guitars are individually hand-built in the United Kingdom at the Fret-King custom shop in Southport, Lancashire, this guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a 3-piece Korina body with a Figured Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The Gold appointments to this guitar include a set of Gotoh SD-91 tuning machines, a Fret-King Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece. A trio of Fret-King P90’s are featured which are wired to a 5-way blade selector with the middle position being reverse wired/reverse polarity for the middle pickup, master volume and tone controls.
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the profile resembling a ‘D’ providing comfortable playability in all registers, whilst the Gloss finish to the rear ensures that transitions up and down the neck feel smooth and controlled. A smooth Rosewood fingerboard adorned with 22 Medium Jumbo frets serve only to enhance the already fantastic playing experience. The offset body shape and generous cutaways provide unrestricted access to the upper frets, whilst also feeling compact and sprightly on the shoulders for easy manoeuvrability on stage. The simple control layout is conveniently placed for easy use without being intrusive, meaning you can focus on your playing. 
 
The trio of Fret-King P90 pickups are specifically designed for each position to ensure balanced volume and tone when switching positions. The result is a trio of pickups that work in perfect harmony, with a clean, ‘vintage’ style tone offered from the neck and reverse wound middle pickup, and a slightly hotter bridge to give you a raw and classic P90 tone. The reverse wound middle pickup ensures positions 2 & 4 deliver the hum-cancelling ‘quacky’ effect these positions are revered for. This is a very exciting and unique instrument that can cover a wide range of genres and sounds.
