Here for sale we have a FGN ILIAD J-STANDARD JIL-ASH-DE664 in Transparent White finish. Made in Japan in 2020, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Ash body, Maple neck and 24 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with a 6-saddle string-thru-body hardtail bridge and a set of Gotoh SG381-07 MG-T locking tuning machines. The pickups are a set of Tonerider Generator humbuckers. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls.
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the ‘U’' profile feeling comfortable and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth satin surface that is easy to navigate. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 9.5” Radius, offers a flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. This is enhanced by the Medium Jumbo frets which assist with bending and vibrato techniques. The bolt-on neck construction and sculpted neck heel provide fantastic access to the upper frets, whilst the belly carve body contour ensures comfort on long gigs or practice sessions.
 
The duo of Tonerider generator humbuckers provide a rich variety of tonal opportunities. The neck position is warm and round, and offers crystal clarity with clean sounds. The humbucker in the bridge position is bright and snappy, with plenty of the bite required for rock lead tones, offering a harmonically saturated distortion that easily cuts through the mix. The simple and intuitive controls make for a great ‘plug in and play’ guitar.
