Here for sale we have a Fender Vintera II '60s Precision Bass in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in Mexico in 2023, this guitar takes inspiration from a ‘60’s Fender P-Bass- widely regarded as the golden era of the P Bass. A bolt-on construction is employed comprising an Alder Body, Maple neck and 20 fret Slab Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with a 4-Saddle Vintage-Style with Threaded Steel Saddles bridge and Vintage-Style Open-Back tuning machines. A Vintage-Style '60s Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup is installed, and is wired to master volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays well, with the Early ‘60s “C” shape, providing a lively and articulate playing experience in all registers. The profile is certainly easy to get along with, offering ergonomic thumb positioning and comfortable reach across the neck. The Gloss finish to the rear provides a slick and smooth playing surface, ensuring that navigation of the 34" scale is a fast and breezy affair. The Slab Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 7.25" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience across the register.
The Vintage-Style '60s Split Single-Coil pickup installed in this guitar delivers fantastic fundamental bass tone right away. Deep, rumbling lows will fill out your mix, whilst punchy mids and a sparkly top end will ensure that you have plenty of snap and attack to provide a lively and percussive performance. The controls keep things simple; not intruding on the playing experience but still offering ample opportunities for tone shaping. A fantastic example of a vintage-inspired Mexican-built Fender.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edge demonstrates two indentations, one on the treble side and one to the tip of the headstock. A small red finish imperfection is apparent to the front face towards the top edge. Some finish wear revealing the wood beneath is apparent to the treble side edge where the guitar would contact a hanger.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition, a patch of moderate scratching is apparent between the bridge and the bottom edge, piercing the top clear coat slightly. All aspects of the body demonstrate infrequent light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles, as is common with high gloss finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flathead driver) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of wear.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
