Here for sale we have a Brent Mason Signature Telecaster in Primer Grey finish. Hailed as one of the greatest session musicians of all time, Brent Mason was first discovered by none other than Chet Atkins in a local country club in Nashville. At the peak of his career in the 1990s, Brent was doing 23 sessions a week and was responsible for genre-defining guitar lines for artists such as George Strait, Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, and Dolly Parton. 
 
Made in the USA in 2022, this bolt-on neck guitar features an Ash body and 21 fret Maple neck and fingerboard. This guitar features a Seymour Duncan Vintage Mini HB neck pickup,  Seymour Duncan Hot Stack Strat STK-S2 middle pickup, and Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack Tele STK-T3B bridge pickup wired to a master volume, middle volume, master tone (push/pull), and 3-way pickup selector control panel. This guitar is modelled on Brent Mason's '67 model which he outfitted with new pickups and a bender system, becoming one of the most prolific session guitarists of all time. 
 
The Satin finish neck feels smooth in the hands and assists with easy navigation of the traditional 25.5" scale. This is complimented by the 7.25" radius, which provides a suitably vintage feel and is great for chordal playing. The single cut-away design allows the player extended access to the upper register, whilst the extensive control panel puts a plethora of tonal options at the players fingertips. The B string bender installed at the neck plate allows for extra playability options when a strap is fitted on the guitar. 
 
Each pick-up demonstrates its own unique voicing, providing a wide range of sounds overall. The Mini HB neck pickup sounds deep and thick, with a focussed midrange to keep a cutting tone on any setting. The middle and bridge pickups also demonstrate fantastic mids, however with a more trebly tone on the Seymour Duncan Vintage Stack Tele STK-T3B bridge pickup. The control panel includes a master volume, middle volume, master tone (push/pull), and 3-way pickup selector, allowing the player to dial in their own tone with multiple options for sonic variation.
