Here for sale we have a Fender Deluxe Thinline Telecaster semi-hollow electric guitar in refinished Sonic Blue finish. Made in Japan in 1985, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Maple fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted including a String-Through-Body Hardtail bridge With 3-saddles and a set of Gotoh Sealed tuning machines. Two fender singlecoils are featured in this guitar; these are wired to a 3-way selector switch, master volume and a master tone.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile that could be described as a slim “C” filling the hand nicely offering an ergonomic playing experience whilst avoiding feeling cumbersome. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck ensures that the 25.5" scale feels easily manoeuvrable, even with the heat and stickiness that can come with playing on stage. The 7.25" fingerboard radius is highly practical for both chordal and melodic playing, with improved string bending and vibrato feel over some of the more traditional models. The Lightweight Semi-Hollow body is comfortable in the arms and easy on the shoulders; perfect for the gigging musician.
Acoustically this guitar has excellent resonance, with a nicely loud and airy tone. The Fender Singlecoil in the neck position sounds thick and full, with a rich low end great for rhythm tonalities. The Singlecoil in the bridge position produces a clear and articulate top end, balancing very well with a punchy output, providing a great feel and clarity, allowing the player to achieve a wide variety of tones all at the fingertips. The volume and tone controls are very responsive, offering comprehensive control of your tone right at your fingertips.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the top edges demonstrate light indentation, appearing to cause some slight delamination of the finish.
Neck: Overall very good condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates consistent light indentation throughout the register. This can be felt beneath the thumb but does not affect the overall playability of the instrument. The fingerboard demonstrates a small patch of finish wear between the 1st and second frets. Light scratching is apparent throughout the register visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Body: Overall very good condition, the body has been refinished to an acceptable standard. Under close inspection, an orange peel texture and sanding scratches are apparent throughout all aspects of the body. The treble side corner of the neck pocket demonstrates a finish crack, not affecting structure. Witness lines of previous dings and scratches are occasionally apparent beneath the finish, visible only under close inspection.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flathead driver) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
