Here for sale we have a Fender Special Edition Lite Ash Telecaster in Natural finish. Made in Korea in 2005, this guitar was part of a limited run in the mid '00s that was designed to be lightweight and feature-heavy. A bolt-on construction is employed, and comprises a Lite Ash body, highly figured Birdseye Maple neck and matching 22 fret fingerboard with attractive Abalone dot inlays. Chrome hardware is fitted including a traditional three-brass-barrel saddle bridge and sealed tuning machines. A pair of Seymour Duncan AlNiCo Pro 2 single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume and master tone controls.
The Birdseye Maple neck plays beautifully, with a profile which might be described as a moderately-sized 'C' shape, well suited to both chordal and melodic playing styles. Certainly, the profile is substantial enough to inspire confidence when playing chunky chords and rhythm parts, yet is slim enough to facilitate articulate lead lines and solos. The traditional Fender 9.5" fingerboard radius works with the medium jumbo frets to ensure that string bending and vibrato techniques are an effortless and breezy affair. The Birdseye Maple combined with the Abalone dot inlays adds a real sense of luxury to the playing experience and helps the instrument to stand out from the crowd.
The pair of Seymour Duncan AlNiCo Pro 2 single-coil pickups installed in this instrument deliver bright, crystalline clean tones and searing crunch sounds, just as we expect from a Telecaster. There is plenty of traditional Tele 'Twang' from the bridge pickup; perfect for country and blues licks, whilst the neck position is nice and smooth for your lead lines and solos. The control layout is as simple and effective as ever, responding well to small changes to ensure that you can blend into any musical setting with ease. An exciting limited edition model that retains the classic Telecaster vibe whilst managing to feel special and unique.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light scuffing is present to the rear underside edge. Any other markings are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The back of the neck displays light indentations throughout that cannot be felt under the thumb in playing position. The seam between the skunk stripe and maple neck can be felt beneath the thumb, however this has been tested and is structurally stable.
Body: Overall very good condition. The body displays light indentations throughout, some of which pierce the finish but have not chipped to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. Light indentation to the crown is present in the early register which quickly improves moving further down the neck.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Some tarnishing is apparent on the tuning machines and bridge saddles that does not affect their performance. The neck plate displays light scratching and scuffing, most notably above the F in Fender.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
