Here for sale we have a Fender Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH Electric Guitar in Black Cherry Burst finish. Due to the lack of serial number, we are unable to determine the year or place of manufacture. This guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Mahogany body with Carved Flame Maple top, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Indian Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is equipped with a Black Nickel 6-saddle string-thru-body hardtail bridge and Fender Standard/Sealed tuning machines. The pickups are a pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers, with a '59 SH-1N in the neck position and Pearly Gates SH-PG1B in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls, with a push/pull coil split function on the tone knob. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well, with the Modern 'C' profile feeling comfortable and articulate in the hand and providing a smooth glossy surface that is easy to navigate. The Indian Laurel fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 15.75" radius, offers a flat and consistent playing experience right the way up the register. This is enhanced by the Jumbo frets which assist with bending and vibrato techniques. The set-neck construction and sculpted neck heel provide fantastic access to the upper frets, whilst the Carved Flame Maple top and belly carve body contour ensure comfort on long gigs or practice sessions. 
 
The pair of Seymour Duncan humbuckers provide a rich variety of tonal options. The neck position is warm and round, and offers crystal clarity with clean sounds. The Pearly Gates in the bridge position is bright and snappy, with plenty of the bite required for rock lead tones, offering a harmonically saturated distortion that easily cuts through the mix. Lows are thick and well defined, whilst mids are punchy and clear. The brightness of the bridge pickup is well suited to rock riffs and rhythm parts, whilst the neck position provides plenty of power for your lead lines and solos. The addition of the coil split function on the tone control adds the opportunity for thinner, more traditional Telecaster sounds, cleaning up your sound right on the guitar.
