Fully Setup Ready To Play - Comprehensive Luthier Report - Fast Delivery

Here for sale we have a Squier Silver Series Telecaster electric guitar in Gloss Black finish. Made in Japan circa. 93-94, this bolt-on neck guitar features an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21 Medium fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6 saddle top loading bridge and a set of Gotoh tuning machines. The pickups featured in this instrument are a Vintage Style Telecaster single-coil in the neck and a high quality Telecaster style replacement single-coil in the bridge, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls.

The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C' profile feeling fast and smooth, whilst the Satin finish to the rear offers effortless transitions into any position. The Maple fingerboard provides an efficient and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality. The single cut-away design provides the player with uninhibited access to the upper register.

The pair of Telecaster style single-coil pickups provide the classic Telecaster tones that have been a staple of modern music for decades. There is plenty of roundness and warmth in the neck and cutting, trebly 'Tele Twang' in the bridge. Clean sounds are glassy and shimmering, whilst driving the amp offers some searing crunch tones. The familiar Telecaster control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound right on the guitar. Perfect for a wide range of styles from country to blues, this guitar offers authentic Telecaster tones at an affordable price.

    Aesthetic Condition:

Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates flaking and chipping of the squier logo, revealing the wood beneath, with this light ‘bubbling’ . Light indentation and scratching can be identified to all aspects of the headstock, most notably along the top edges where indentation and scuffing pierces the finish.

Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates play wear in the early register, piercing the finish and revealing the wood beneath. This continues to a lesser degree throughout the register, with scratching and the occasional chip (most notably at the 12th and 17th frets) visible. The rear of the neck demonstrates light to moderate indentations throughout the register, somewhat discernible beneath the thumb.

Overall very good condition. A notable chip to the finish is apparent to the bottom rear edge towards the bass side of the lower bout. Further moderate indentation can be identified to all edges, most notably the bottom. Light to moderate scratching and indentation is apparent to all aspects, most notably to both front and rear lower bouts, where indentation pierces the finish slightly. The rear face demonstrates buckle rash to the center of the face, not piercing the finish.

    Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate moderate signs of wear, with moderate indentation in the early register and flattening of the crowns throughout the register, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for future fret work.
