Here for sale we have a Fender Road Worn Player Telecaster Electric Guitar in Black finish. Made in Mexico in 2013, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include an aftermarket Gotoh 'In-Tune' bridge, Vintage-style tuners, Chrome hardware, a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N Humbucker in the neck position, and a Tex-Mex Single-Coil Tele pickup in the bridge position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
The ‘Road Worn’ Urethane Maple neck plays very well, with a Modern 'C' profile that fills the hand whilst also sitting comfortably in the hand and provides a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience. The Maple fingerboard provides an effortless and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality. The classic Telecaster body contours feel as comfortable as ever, with the single cutaways providing excellent access to the upper frets.
Amplified, the Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N humbucker pickup installed in this guitar provides a warm and rich tone in the neck position that sounds glassy and sparkly with clean settings. Rolling back the tone control offers an almost jazzy sound, whilst increasing the gain brings a full and detailed tone for solos. The Tex-Mex Single-Coil Tele bridge pickup provides all of the Telecaster style twang and bite with searing highs sounds that will cut right through the mix, whilst offering rich and creamy tonalities when dialling the volume back, perfect for blues and country solo tones.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
