Here for sale we have a Fender Player Stratocaster in Black finish. Made in Mexico in 2021, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel hardware including 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and Fender Standard Sealed tuning machines. The pickups installed are a trio of Fender Player Series Alnico V Strat single-coils, which are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck/middle tone and bridge tone controls.
The satin finish Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the Modern 'C' profile allowing for easy fretting in any register and lending itself well to a wide variety of styles. The Pau Ferro fingerboard is pleasant to the touch, and with its 9.5” radius offers a nice balance between comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines. Medium jumbo frets enhance vibrato and string bending techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid and smooth playing experience without sacrificing that conventional Fender feel.
The trio of Fender Player Series Alnico V Strat single-coil pickups deliver classic Stratocaster tones with a modern edge for the contemporary player. A bell-like high end is complemented well by punchy mids and robust low frequencies, with crisp articulation in all positions. The 5-way blade switch provides plenty of versatility, with an array of sounds that make it clear why the Stratocaster has been a mainstay of electric guitar for almost 70 years. Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock:
Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. A finish imperfection is apparent to the tip, resulting in a small raised area.
Neck:
Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching throughout, with a very small indentation apparent on the 17th fret. These cannot be felt beneath the string and in no way affect the feel or playability. Any markings to the rear of the neck are difficult to discern.
Body:
Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light scratching, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. A very small white scuff mark is apparent to the finish at front face of the lower bout, near the body contour.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16” hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light tarnishing is apparent to the bridge. Trem arm not included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
