Here for sale we have a Fender Player Precision Bass in Tidepool finish. Made in Mexico in 2023, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 20 fret Maple fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted, with a Nickel 4-Saddle Standard bridge and Chrome Standard Open-Geared tuning machines. A Player Series Alnico 5 Split Single-Coil Precision Bass pickup is installed, and is wired to master volume and tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip, whilst remaining slim enough for articulate playing. The Satin finish to the rear is pleasant under the thumb and assists with smooth navigation of the 34" scale. The Maple fingerboard with its 9.5" radius is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques whilst providing a pleasant and durable playing surface. The medium jumbo frets enhance the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques whilst also providing a rock-solid sensation under the fingers. 
 
The Fender Player Series Alnico 5 Split Single-Coil pickup installed in this guitar delivers great fundamental bass tone as soon as you plug the instrument in. The low end is thick and full-bodied, ensuring that your bass playing fills out the mix nicely. The mids are punchy and clear, whilst the sparkly top end captures all the spank and attack of your playing, keeping you in the front of the mix. The simple controls offer comprehensive control of your tone without over-complicating things. Still the perfect workhorse bass.
