Here for sale we have a Fender Player II Telecaster Electric Guitar in Coral Red finish. Made in Mexico in 2024, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle String-Through-Body Tele bridge with Block Steel saddles, Knurled Flat-Top control knobs, and Fender ClassicGear tuners. The pickups fitted are a set of Player Series Alnico 5 Tele Single-Coils. These are wired to a master volume, master tone, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays well, with the 'Modern C' profile feeling fast and articulate, whilst the Satin Urethane finish to the rear ensures effortless transitions into any position. Fender have brought rolled fingerboard edges to their Player II series and it makes a world of difference, feeling comfortable and seamless all the way up the neck. The Maple fingerboard provides a robust and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality. The single cut-away design provides the player with extended reach into the upper register, ensuring you can make use of all 22 Medium Jumbo frets.
The Player Series Alnico 5 Tele Single-Coil pickups provide all of the classic Telecaster tones that you would expect, with plenty of roundness and warmth in the neck and cutting, trebly 'Tele Twang' in the bridge. Clean sounds are glassy and shimmering, whilst driving the amp offers some searing crunch tones. The familiar Telecaster control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound right on the guitar. Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. The top edge demonstrates an indentation near the high E tuning post.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Any other markings are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. The body demonstrates light to moderate scratching throughout. Most notably a concentrated area to the bass side of the lower bout and indentation to the lower bout edges. These indentations have marked but not removed any of the finish.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some finish wear and oxidisation of the fret ends, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, pickup cover and control plate.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
