Here for sale we have a Fender Pawn Shop Mustang Special Electric Guitar in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in Japan in 2012, this guitar consists of a Basswood body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle String-Thru-Body Hardtail bridge, Vintage-Style tuners, and a set of Fender Enforcer Wide Range humbucking pickups. These pickups are wired to a master volume, master tone, a three-way pickup selector, and two individual pickup coil selector switches.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the Wide Oval shape profile feeling comfortable in the hand and providing a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth transitions up and down the neck, and works in conjunction with the 24" scale to create an instrument that feels exceptionally easy to navigate. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 9.5" radius and medium jumbo frets deliver a suitably vintage-inspired feel, whilst still delivering modern playability.
The Mustang Special comes fitted with two Fender Enforcer Wide Range Humbuckers that have a coil selector switch for each pickup. These pickups sound fantastic. They have so much dynamic range and are so responsive to the way you play each note. Plenty of bite in the bridge pickup without being too tinny and the neck pickup is creamy and articulate, perfect for smooth solos. The Coil Selector Switch allows you to really explore the different tones that this guitar can produce, opening your eyes to just how versatile this instrument can be.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front and rear face edges demonstrate mild indentations around the tip of the headstock. Any other markings are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates mild indentation behind the 5th fret. This can be felt beneath the fingertip on inspection but not by the hand in playing position. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate mild to moderate scratching, indentation and scuff marks. Most notably to the front and rear face, as well as the sides of the lower bout. The finish has chipped away to reveal the wood beneath in a small area of the rear face.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (flat head driver) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Mild tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and tuning pegs.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
