Here for sale we have a Fender Modern Player Jaguar in Red Transparent finish. Made in China in 2014, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Mahogany body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted including an Anchored tailpiece, 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Adjusto-Matic bridge & Vintage-Style Split-Post tuning machines. A pair of aftermarket 'Powered by LACE' P90 pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume & master tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the 'C' Shape profile feeling easily manageable & precise in all registers. The Jaguar is unusual for Fender in terms of scale length. At just 24" it matches Fender's student models like the Mustang & Duo Sonic. This makes the playing experience quite different to that of a Strat or Tele, with lower string tension and a sense of rapid manoeuvrability. With the offset body & cutaways, the body is supremely comfortable in the arms whilst offering ample upper fret access. 
 
Amplified, the pair of 'Powered by LACE' P90s deliver thick and full bodied tones, perfect for a wide range of styles. The P90 pickup can be thought of as an over-wound single-coil, which means that it offers the best of both single-coil & humbucking sounds. Clean sounds are a little beefier, but still shimmer & sparkle. Cranking the gain quickly pushes the amp into a saturated distortion tone which works beautifully for blues, rock or even grunge tones. A unique instrument with interesting looks & sounds.
