Here for sale we have a Fender MIJ Troublemaker Telecaster Electric Guitar in Black finish. Made in Japan in 2020, this guitar consists of a Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Chrome hardware, a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Adjusto-Matic bridge with Anchored-Tailpiece, Witch Hat control knobs, and a set of Fender Modern Modified Humbucking Type II Pickups. These pickups are wired to two volume controls, two tone controls, and a three-way pickup selector.
The Satin-finished Mahogany neck plays very well, with Fender's Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5” radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Narrow Tall frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player.
The Fender Modern Modified Humbucking Type II pickups sound thick and full, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with classic Fender treble. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The controls feel responsive, offering a wide range of sounds. Overall offering more power than is usual for Fender without entirely losing the signature character.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles, as is common on gloss finishes. The very tip of the front face edge demonstrates a scuff mark that has removed some of the finish.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Any markings to the neck and fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light scratching throughout, only visible under direct light at certain angles. The sides demonstrate light scratching, most notably to the treble side lower bout, near the input jack. The binding demonstrates an indentation above the lower strap button that has cracked the finish but does not reveal any wood beneath. The rear face demonstrates light scratching throughout and an indentation to the treble side edge near the control cavity that has chipped the finish to reveal the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with mild denting in the early register, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. All aspects of the hardware demonstrate light tarnishing, with more notable moderate tarnishing to the pickup covers.
Structural: No issues or concerns to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
