Here for sale we have a Fender Mexican Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Midnight Blue finish. Made in Mexico in 2001, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted, including a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo and Fender Die-Cast Sealed tuning machines. A trio of Fender Standard Strat single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume neck tone and middle tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate lead lines. The Satin finish to the rear of the neck has been buffed to a gloss from previous playing and is pleasant to the touch, and assists with smooth and speedy navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Maple fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius provides a smooth, durable and practical surface for a wide variety of playing styles and techniques. This is enhanced by the Vintage frets, which encourage faster playing whilst improving the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques.
The trio of Fender Standard Strat single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver traditional Stratocaster tones in spades, with 5-way switching and comprehensive controls providing the wide range of versatile tones that the Strat is famous for. The neck is warm and round whilst providing all the power required to push your solos to the front of the mix. The middle position is well suited to funky clean tones, whilst the bridge delivers a searing output for rocking riffs and that classic Fender 'Twang'.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
