Here for sale we have a Fender Standard Jazz Bass Left Handed in Black finish. Made in Mexico in 2004, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 20 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a Gotoh 4-Saddle bridge and HipShot open-geared tuning machines. A pair of Fender Standard Jazz Bass single-coil pickups are fitted in the middle and bridge positions, and are wired to independent volume controls and a master tone.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate grip across the register. The 1.5" nut width is nice and traditional, offering ample string spacing for accurate fretting. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 9.5" radius offers a tactile, durable and practical playing surface. The Medium Jumbo frets provide a rock -solid sensation under the fingers whilst enhancing the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Mild delamination of the lacquer finish is present to the front face with the most apparent being seen over the Fender logo where the wood has been exposed. Light indentations are present to the edges and front face of the headstock causing light delamination.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates consistent light indentations throughout the register. These can be lightly felt beneath the thumb in the playing position but do not impact the overall playability of the instrument. Very light lacquer cracking can be slightly felt to the 'Skunk Stripe' to the rear of the neck.
Body: Overall very good condition. A moderate finish crack is present to the inside edge of the treble side horn, this has lightly exposed the wood beneath and does not affect the structure of the instrument. Light to mild scratching is present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the treble side lower bout edge.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the metal hardware display light to mild tarnishing of the finish.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.25mm
