Here for sale we have a Fender Made In Japan Hybrid II Telecaster in 3-Color Sunburst finish. Originally released in 2021 & updated in 2024, the Hybrid II range fuses modern playability features such as Narrow Tall frets and push/pull coil splitting with a vintage look and feel. This guitar was made in 2024 and features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Nickel/Chrome hardware is fitted including a Vintage-Style string-thru-body bridge with Brass barrel saddles and a set of vintage-style locking tuners. A pair of Fender Hybrid II Custom Voiced pickups are installed, with a single-coil in the bridge & humbucker in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls, with a push/pull coil split.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a beautiful Satin finish to the rear and a comfortable Modern 'C' shape profile that provides a smooth and responsive playing experience in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard is certainly pleasant under the fingers and delivers a playing surface which is tactile & durable. The 9.5" radius with Narrow Tall frets are nice modern touches that ensure lead lines and string bending techniques are very practical, perfect for the Telecaster player who needs a little bit more usability.
The pair of Fender Hybrid II Custom Voiced pickups installed in this guitar deliver authentic There is plenty of Tele 'Twang' in the bridge position as we would expect, and driving the amp with some gain produces a searing rock or blues tone. The neck pickup meanwhile is warmer and delivers plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The addition of a coil-split function adds the versatility of more single-coil-esque sounds from the neck, making this an instrument which is capable in any musical situation. A really interesting modern take on a vintage-style Telecaster.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates light to mild scratching throughout, visible under direct light & close scrutiny. This looks to be the result of a mild sanding by a previous owner.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching towards the headstock. A light indentation is apparent behind the 3rd fret, very lightly felt beneath the thumb in the playing position but not impacting playability. Any markings to the fingerboard are difficult to discern.
Body: Overall good condition. The body demonstrates mild to moderate scratching and indentations throughout, most notable to the bass side of the lower bout at the front face where the wood is lightly revealed in one area. Mild scratching and scuffing is apparent to the lower bass side edges of the lower bout. The rear face demonstrates notable, concentrated scratching throughout, likely the result of a mild sanding by a previous owner.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) is included.

Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
