Here for sale we have a John 5 Ghost Telecaster. Made in 2024 this guitar features a 1-Ply Red Top bound Alder body in Arctic White with Maple neck and 22 Narrow Tall fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include Deluxe Locking tuning machines, 6-Saddle String-Through Tele bridge and 1-Ply mirrored Chrome pickguard. A pair of DiMarzion D Activator pickups are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector and master volume. An Arcade-Style "Kill Switch" is also fitted.
The Custom John 5 Medium "C" shape neck profile and gloss finish give the guitar fast and smooth playability. The Narrow Tall frets add to the robust playing experience and assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, lending itself to a wide variety of styles. The Alder body has some weight which contributes to the tone of the guitar, giving it a rounded low end and great sustain. The classic Telecaster shape adds to the familiar feel of this instrument, but is accentuated by the added flashiness of the Chrome pickguard, white finish and red bound body.
Amplified, this guitar has a thick low end grunt and sculpted mid range thanks to its pair of DiMarzio pickups. The DiMarzio D Activator Humbucker in the bridge position delivers powerful but balanced rock and metal tones with rich upper-midrange harmonic content. The low strings are tight and the high strings scream with harmonics, making it a go-to pickup for hard-hitting crunch rhythms and blazing lead tones. The DiMarzio in the neck position offers all the soloing clarity you could wish for, with sweet sustain and a warm, full sound that still possesses a clear attack providing a hot output delivering smooth, fluid solo tones under gain, while still being capable of bell-like clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate very light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Slight discolouration is apparent, as is common with these models.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Slight discolouration is apparent, as is common with these models. Most notably to the fingerboard where the original colour can be seen beneath the strings.
Body: Overall very good condition. The rear face bass side lower bout demonstrates a small black scuff mark that could not be removed during our cleaning process. Slight discolouration is apparent, as is common with these models.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light scratching is apparent on some areas of the pickguard/control plate and bridge.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
