Here for sale we have a Fender Jim Adkins JA-90 Thinline Telecaster in Crimson Red Transparent finish. Built in Indonesia in 2023 this guitar was designed with Jim Adkin to capture an authentic alt-rock pop-punk Telecaster style. This guitar features a set-neck construction comprising a Semi-Hollow Ash body, Maple neck and 22 fret Laurel fingerboard. This instrument is fitted with a 6-saddle Vintage-Style Adjusto-Matic with Anchored-Tailpiece, skirted amp knobs and 3-Ply black pickguard. The pickups installed are a pair of Seymour Duncan p-90s, with a SP90-1N RWRP Vintage P90 in the neck and a SP90-3 Custom P90 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with its ‘Modern C’ profile feeling nice and flat making for easy manoeuvres whilst still feeling traditional. The Gloss finish makes for a soft surface that makes for swift and responsive playing. The Laurel fingerboard feels smooth and durable under the finger, and with its classic 9.5” radius strikes a perfect balance of comfortable chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The medium jumbo frets offer a rock solid playing surface whilst enhancing vibrato feel.
The pair of Seymour Duncan P90s sound balanced and sweet, with plenty of warmth and sparkle in the neck delivering big fat sounding chords that bloom and a gritty open tone in the bridge perfect for single note lines to shine through the mix. The comprehensive yet simple controls offer total tonal control. This guitar is the very embodiment of sonic sweetness.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.
Body: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which can only be seen under direct light, this is common with gloss finishes.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm Hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is present to both the pickup covers and pick guard, this is consistent with previous use and can be seen under direct light. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use.
