Here for sale we have a Fender Highway Series Dreadnought Electro Acoustic Guitar in Natural finish. The Highway Series Dreadnought was designed to provide a comfortable, feedback-resistant acoustic guitar that has been optimized for live performance situations. Made in Mexico in 2023, this guitar consists of a Solid Mahogany top, a Solid Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Tapered Floating X bracing, Fender ClassicGear tuners, Narrow Tall frets, a Graph Tech nut and saddle, and a Fishman Fluence Acoustic Pickup. This pickup is wired to a volume control, and a contour control. 
 
The Mahogany neck plays very well. The 'C' profile fills the hand nicely for a comfortable and practical grip across the register. The open-pore finish to the rear of the neck is pleasantly tactile under the thumb. In a departure from Fender's tradition, the radius of the Rosewood fingerboard is 12", which provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface across the register, adding to the acoustic vibe of the instrument. The Narrow Tall frets improve the feel of vibrato and string bending techniques, and ensure the practicality and easy playability of an electric guitar is retained. 
 
Despite the guitar's untraditionally thin body, acoustically the guitar still has plenty of volume which is perfect for practising, small writing sessions, or self-accompaniment. Amplified, this Highway Series Dreadnought produces a stunning tone straight out of the gate, making this an excellent companion for acoustic gigs. The Fishman Fluence Acoustic pickup is crystal clear and incredibly well balanced, producing all of the frequencies that you would want from an electro-acoustic, but in a slightly smaller and more comfortable package.
