Here for sale we have a Fender 'Flea' Jazz Bass in Roadworn Shell Pink finish. Made in Mexico in 2016, this Flea signature bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. The neck and the body have been finished in Roadworn Nitrocellulose Lacquer to make it look as close to Flea's actual Jazz Bass as possible. Other appointments include a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, Fender vintage-style tuners, and a set of Pure Vintage ‘64 Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups that are wired to two stacked concentric controls for volume and tone for each pickup. 
 
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘C’ profile allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning, whilst the ‘Roadworn’ Nitrocellulose finish is fantastic for smooth, quick transitions up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard feels pleasant under the fingers, whilst the 7.25” radius and Vintage-style Jumbo frets allow for ease of different techniques such as slap bass or chordal playing. The double cutaway and contoured body design allows the player to have unobstructed access to the entire register, whilst also making longer durations of playing a comfortable experience.
 
The Pure Vintage ‘64 Single-Coil pickups deliver classic original-era tone and power, with smooth rounded lows, clear and open mid range and a sweet treble response that captures the attack and aggression of your playing. The simple control layout offers comprehensive control of your sound without over complicating things or getting in the way of the playing experience. The Stacked Concentric controls add extra control over the shape of your sound as you can manipulate the tone and volume of each individual pickup. The pots feel nicely responsive, allowing you to dial in your perfect tone with ease. The simplicity of the controls ensure that you can stay focussed on your playing whilst still offering comprehensive control of your tone.
