Here for sale we have a Fender Custom Shop 1959 Stratocaster Heavy Relic Electric Guitar in Ocean Turquoise finish. Made in the USA in 2023, this guitar employs a bolt-on construction featuring an Alder body, a Roasted Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include an American Vintage Strat bridge, Sperzel Trim-Lok tuners, and Chrome/Nickel hardware. The pickups installed are a Seymour Duncan SH4B Jeff Beck Humbucker in the bridge, and two Handwound Strat Fat 60s Single Coils in the neck and middle positions. These pickups are wired to a master volume, tone 1, tone 2, and a 5-way pickup selector.
The Roasted Heavy Relic Maple neck plays incredibly well, with the '60s Style Oval 'C' Shape offering an incredibly comfortable playing surface across the entire register. Certainly, the neck is substantial enough to sustain a firm grip for chords, whilst remaining slim enough for fast, articulate playing. The Rosewood of the fretboard is luxurious under the fingers and has a rich and deep dark hue, with a lovely tight grain, and with the traditional 12" radius, it is practical for a wide range of playing styles and techniques.
The HSS configuration of this guitar features a Seymour Duncan SH4B Jeff Beck Humbucker in the bridge position delivering hot tones, saturating into an incredibly rich distortion when driving your amp. The two Hand Wound Fat Strat '60s Single-Coil pickups in the neck and middle deliver authentic and traditional Stratocaster tones with more than a hint of Custom Shop refinement. The neck is warm and smooth, creating rich buttery tones for your solos and lead lines that have plenty of power to cut through the mix. The middle position is brighter and works fantastically for funky rhythm sounds. The volume and tone controls are nice and responsive, allowing you to make small tweaks when playing and ensuring you remain in full control of your tone at all times.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
