Here for sale we have a Fender 60s Jaguar Lacquer Electric Guitar in Fiesta Red finish. Made in Mexico in 2014, this guitar consists of an Alder body finished in Gloss Lacquer, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Adjustable with “Floating” Tremolo Tailpiece, Nickel/Chrome hardware and Vintage-Style tuners. Equipped in this guitar are a pair of American Vintage '65 Single-Coil Jaguar pickups, wired to a master volume, master tone, Rhythm Circuit: master volume thumbwheel, master tone thumbwheel, and a 3-way pickup selector.
The ‘C’ shape Maple Neck sits comfortably in the hand, allowing for comfortable navigation and ergonomic thumb positioning up and down the neck. This example has also been sanded down to a very good standard, making for a smooth feel underhand. The 7.25” fingerboard radius makes this guitar great for playing a wide range of styles and techniques, whilst the Rosewood feels pleasant under the fingers, providing a rock solid playing surface. Generous cutaways enhance access to the upper register and also allow for convenient use of the controls whilst playing. Ergonomic control placement provides easy access to the rhythm circuit whilst playing, with the usual 3-way toggle switch, master volume and tone controls also comfortably within reach.
The duo of an American Vintage '65 single coil Jaguar pickups provide a glistening brightness which allows you to cut through any mix. The single coil in the neck gives you smooth and rounded low end making both chords and lead lines full, whilst being able to distinguish each note clearly. The bridge pickup offers crystalline highs and makes chords clear and well-defined. The slide switch when activated (up) allows for two thumbwheel controls for the neck pickup volume and tone adding a vast tonal palette for the player to explore.
