Here for sale we have a Fender Classic Series '50s Stratocaster in Olympic White finish. Made in Mexico in 2003, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is equipped with a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage-Style Stamped Steel saddles, as well as Fender Vintage-Style Split-Post tuning machines. The pickups are a trio of Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat pickups, which are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone & middle tone controls.
The Maple neck plays beautifully, with the Soft 'V' profile promoting ergonomic thumb positioning and providing a suitably vintage-inspired playing experience. Certainly, the profile feels unique when compared with Fender's more modern 'C' shape necks. The 7.25" fingerboard radius provides this instrument with an authentically vintage playing experience, this, paired with the vintage frets offers a nicely vintage-inspired playing experience.
The trio of Vintage-Style Single-Coil Strat pickups provide a wide range of tonal options, as is to be expected on a Stratocaster. The neck pickup offers warm and round tones, perfect for lead lines and soloing. The often overlooked middle pickup is great for funky tones, whilst the bridge position is as bright and biting as ever. The traditional control layout with no bridge tone control allows for a unique voice when splitting between the bridge and middle pickups with the middle tone rolled down.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The front face demonstrates some finish delamination surrounding the tuning machine ferrules, along with a small spot to the treble side edge. The top edges demonstrate scuffing and paint transfer which we have been unable to remove. Some discoloration is apparent to the bass side where the guitar contacts a hanger.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching and indentation throughout the register which cannot be felt beneath the thumb and is visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The fingerboard demonstrates very light scratching throughout. The finish in the upper register at the edges of the fingerboard of the fingerboard edges has worn away, revealing the wood beneath.
Body: Overall very good condition. The bottom edge demonstrates a notable indentation which has chipped the finish. Some finish touch up has previously taken place to amend this. The bass side of the neck pocket demonstrates a moderate finish crack which does not affect the structural integrity of the instrument. The pickguard shows mild scratching consistent with playwear.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with some indentations apparent in the early and middle frets, and flattening of the crown throughout the register. There is only a small amount of material remaining for future fret work.
