Here for sale we have a Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar in Shoreline Gold finish. Most well known for his work with the Foo Fighters, Chris Shiflett has definitely earned his place in the Rock world. His signature Telecaster is modelled on his favourite '72 Tele Deluxe, and delivers all of the power and drive that will safely propel you into the rock stratosphere.
Made in Mexico in 2023, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 6-Saddle Vintage-Style Strat string-thru-body bridge & Vintage-Style Split-Post, F-Stamped tuning machines. A pair of Fender Chris Shiflett passive humbucking pickups are installed, with a CS1 in the Bridge & a CS2 in the neck. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch and independent volume & tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 12” radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player.
The Fender Chris Shiflett Humbuckers deliver thick and full bodied tones, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange and classic Fender treble. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. There is plenty of snarl and bite from the bridge position, whilst the neck produces a thick and powerful sound which works great for lead and solo tones. The controls feel nicely responsive, allowing you to tweak your tone whilst playing with ease. A really cool little spin on the Telecaster Deluxe from the Foo Fighters man.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the headstock.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition. Finish repairs are apparent to the front edge near the controls and at the bass side shoulder near the pickup switch. These have been performed to an acceptable standard but are visible upon inspection. The finish that has been used in these repairs is flatter than the surrounding Gold. A mild finish crack is present at the bass side of the neck pocket. This has been tested and presents no structural concerns.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of use. The pickup covers show light tarnishing, & some of the pickguard screws show oxidation. Locking strap buttons have been added to the guitar. Only one of the original strap buttons is included in the case.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
