Here for sale we have a Fender California Vintage Palomino Electro Acoustic Guitar in Sienna Sunburst. Made in China in 2023, the guitar features a set-neck construction consisting of Solid Sitka Spruce Top with Solid Ovangkol Back and Sides, Okoume neck and 20 fret Ovangkol fretboard. Other appointments include a Vintage Viking bridge and Vintage-Style with Aged White Buttons tuning machines. A Fishman Presys VT Plus Soundhole pickup system is fitted and wired to Soundhole mounted Volume and Blend for body pickup and Piezo.
The Okoume neck plays well, with a Modern “V” profile sitting comfortably in the hand and allowing for easy reach in all registers. The Ovangkol fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 16" radius offers a perfect balance between comfort for chord playing and practicality for fingerstyle and lead lines. The Palomino Auditorium body size is supremely comfortable in the arms, feeling nicely slim whilst retaining enough size to produce a deep and rich tone with plenty of dynamic range.
The acoustic voice of the Fender California Vintage Palomino offers unpronounced yet detailed low end, strong and punchy high-mids and a sparkling treble response. The onboard Fishman electronics faithfully convey the acoustic tone of the instrument while offering ample sonic control.
