Here for sale we have a Fender Blacktop Telecaster. Made in Mexico in 2011 this guitar features an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include 6-Saddle String-Through-Body Hardtail bridge, Skirked Amp control knobs and Fender Standard Sealed tuning machines. A pair of Hot Vintage Alnico humbucking pickups are fitted and wired to a 3-way pickup selector and master volume and tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5” radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical player. The gloss finish to the rear of the neck makes it very tactile and pleasing under the thumb and ensures that navigation of the 25.5" scale length is an absolute breeze.
The Hot Vintage Alnico humbuckers sound thick and full, with a solid low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with classic Fender treble. The pickups cut through nicely, putting your playing front and centre in even the densest of mixes. The controls feel responsive, offering a wide range of sounds. Overall offering more power than is usual for Fender without entirely losing the signature character.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The very tip of the front face demonstrates very light scuffing to the edge, only visible under direct light and close scrutiny. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern. Front face demonstrates very light scratching.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The rear of the neck demonstrates light scratching, only visible under direct light at certain angles. Delamination is apparent along the skunk stripe, which can be lightly felt by the hand in playing position. The rear of the neck demonstrates very light indentations, only visible under direct light, can be lightly felt by the hand.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching, scuffing and indentations. Most notably indentations at the lower bout edges, where the finish has been chipped away, with the wood beneath coloured black to match the finish. Other indentations have marked but not removed any of the finish. The bass side neck pocket demonstrates a very fine finish crack.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (5mm hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and very good condition. Light to mild scratching and tarnishing is apparent to the bridge, pickup covers and tuners. The pickguard demonstrates consistent mild scratching.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
