Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass Texas Tea 2020 Electric Bass
Here for sale we have a Fender American Ultra Jazz Bass in Texas Tea finish. Made in the USA in 2020, this bolt-on constructed bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include a 4-Saddle HiMass bridge, Fender "F" Light-Weight Vintage-Paddle Key tuners, chrome hardware, and a bone nut. The pickups installed in this bass are a set of Ultra Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass Single Coils that are wired to a master volume, a pan control, a 3-Band EQ, passive tone control, and an active/passive mini-toggle switch.
 
The satin finish Modern 'D' profile neck plays exceptionally well, feeling smooth and fluid in the hand and giving superb support for the thumb. The compound fingerboard radius balances traditional and modern playing feels, being rounder in the lower register and flattening out as you move up the register, for a quick and easy feel, great for faster lines. 
 
The Ultra Noiseless Vintage Jazz Bass pickups have a well rounded tone, with a solid and commanding low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with clear and cutting highs. The active controls offer a plethora of tonal options, allowing you to have a traditional Jazz Bass passive tone in conjunction with a 3-band active EQ, great for sculpting out the perfect tone for any playing situation. Overall a really solid workhorse bass with a lovely modern feel!

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to the treble and top edges of the headstock, the most apparent of these can seen to the tip of the rear face. Very light scratching is present to the front face, these can only be seen under direct light.

    Neck: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the neck and fingerboard display light signs of past use.

    Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild indentations are present to all aspects of the body, the most apparent of these can be seen to the rear face both the bass and treble sides, the indentations have very lightly cracked the finish but does not expose the wood beneath. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching which can be seen under direct light, the most apparent of these can be seen to the center of the rear face consistent with buckle rash, the bass side lower bout of the front face and around the bridge pickup, all of these are consistent with regular past use.

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability.  There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) included.

    Hardware: Overall very good condition. Mild oxidation and wearing of the finish can be seen near the volume control to the control plate, this is consistent with past use in a high contact area. Mild tarnishing and wearing away of the finish can be seen to the pick guard, bass side of the neck pickup, this is common with regular past use in a high contact area.

    Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret-2mm - Bass 2.25mm

    Please be aware that the action on a guitar may move slightly in transit and this measurement is the current height.
