Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Telecaster in Candy Apple Red finish. Made in the USA in 1992, this bolt-on neck guitar features an Alder body, a Maple neck and a 22 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Chrome hardware including a 6-Saddle American Tele bridge with Stainless Steel Saddles and a set of Fender tuning machines. The pickups featured in this instrument are a pair of American Single-Coil Tele pickups, these are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, master volume and master tone controls.
The Maple neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the 'C' profile feeling fast and smooth, whilst the Gloss finish to the rear offers effortless transitions into any position. The Maple fingerboard provides a luxurious and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius offers a perfect marriage between comfortable playability and modern practicality. The single cut-away design provides the player with uninhibited access to the upper register.
The American Single-Coil Tele pickups provide the classic Telecaster tones that have been a staple of modern music for decades. Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations can be seen to both the bass side edge near the high E tuning machines and near the F of the Fender logo, these can be seen under close scrutiny.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present across the register to the rear of the neck, the most apparent of these can be seen at the 5th fret bass side edge of the fingerboard which can be felt in the playing position. Very light wear marks are present to the early frets of the fingerboard, this is common with regular past use and can not be felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light imprints are present to the front face and rear face of the body, these can only be seen under direct light and do not break the finish. All aspects of the body display light to mild scratching and indentations which can only be seen under direct light, the most apparent of these can be seen to the treble side waist edge, this has lightly pierced the finish but does not expose the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" Hex) not included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. light to mild tarnishing of the finish can be seen to the metal hardware, this is consistent with regular past use.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.75mm - Bass 2mm
