Here for sale we have a Fender 60th Anniversary American Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 2013, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo bridge with bent steel saddles and Fender Staggered/Sealed tuning machines. A trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s Stratocaster single-coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone and bridge/middle tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile providing a smooth and responsive playing experience across the register. Certainly, the profile is slim enough to facilitate fast, articulate lines whilst retaining enough thickness to sustain a firm grip when chord playing. The Maple of the fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and provides a smooth and durable playing surface. Its 9.5" radius works in conjunction with the medium jumbo fret wire to enhance the feel of string bending and vibrato techniques. 
 
The trio of Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s Stratocaster single-coils installed in this guitar deliver thick and full-bodied strat tones, with the three positions offering a wide selection of tones and living up to the versatile reputation that the Stratocaster commands. The neck position is warm and round, delivering plenty of power for solos and lead sounds with higher gain settings, while clean sounds are shimmering and rich. The middle pickup is brighter and works very well for funky rhythm sounds. The bridge pickup produces a searing output which can saturate into a full-throttle distortion just as well as it can deliver bright and clear Fender 'Twang'.
