Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 2008, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge & Fender Deluxe Staggered tuning machines. The pickups installed are two Fender American Standard Strat Single-Coils in the neck and middle, and a Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails Strat Humbucker in the bridge. These pickups are wired to a master volume, two tone controls, and a 5-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The finish to the rear feels smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface right up to the 22nd fret. The 9.5" radius works in conjunction with the Medium Jumbo frets to produce a rock solid playing surface which is practical for string bending, vibrato techniques and complex chord voicings alike.
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster Single-Coils pickups deliver all the classic Stratocaster tones that you could wish for, whilst the Seymour Duncan Vintage Rails Strat Humbucker in the bridge gives you that extra boost of fatness you need for cutting through the mix. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup is round and powerful, great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully. The bridge pickup is progressively brighter, delivering a searing output which works beautifully well for rock & metal rhythm parts.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. The tip of the headstock demonstrates light indentations around the front face edge, with a notable indentation at the very tip and to the underside edge.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates indentation to the 1st and 5th frets that cannot be felt beneath the strings. The rear of the neck demonstrates light indentation in line with the 11th fret and in the early register. These cannot be felt by the hand in the playing position.
Body: Overall good condition. All aspects of the body demonstrate light to mild scratching, scuffing and indentation. Most notably indentation beneath the bridge, in line with the high E string saddle, and to the edge of the treble side lower bout, where the finish has been removed to reveal the wood beneath. Small indentations that have marked but not removed the finish can be found throughout the treble side lower bout sides.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, not affecting playability. Light denting is present to the early register and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (1/8" hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional and good condition. Moderate tarnishing is apparent to the bridge and control knobs.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.5mm - Bass 2mm
