Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2009, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, a Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. The hardware featured on this guitar consists of a 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge and a set of Fender Deluxe Staggered tuning machines.Two Tex-Mex single-coil pickups are installed plus a Fender Diamondback humbucker, these are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck and middle tone controls.
 
The Satin Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promotes ergonomic hand positioning, feeling smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface, with the 9.5" radius working in conjunction with the Medium Jumbo frets to produce an authentically vintage playing experience, allowing for vibrato techniques and complex chordings to be played with ease.
 
TheTex-Mex Single-Coils pickups provide all the classic Stratocaster tones that you coil wish for. The Diamondback bridge pickup is nice and hot, and can handle a pretty serious amount of gain when called upon. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The neck pickup has rounded creamer tones great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully, offering plenty of room for tonal sculpting.
