Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Stratocaster in Black finish. Made in the USA in 2000, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck & 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware is fitted including a 2-Point Synchronized tremolo with Bent Steel saddles & a set of upgraded locking tuning machines. A trio of Fender American Standard Stratocaster Single-Coil pickups are installed, and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck tone & middle/bridge No-Load tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern ‘C’ profile sitting very comfortably in the hand and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning in all registers. The Satin finish to the rear feels smooth whilst providing an articulate playing experience. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and offers a tactile and durable playing surface right up to the 22nd fret. The 9.5" radius works in conjunction with the Medium Jumbo frets to produce a rock solid playing surface which is practical for string bending, vibrato techniques and complex chord voicings alike.
The Fender American Standard Stratocaster Single-Coils pickups deliver all the classic Stratocaster tones that you could wish for. The bridge pickup provides bright and glistening trebles with plenty of spank, Power chords and riffs sound gritty, whilst lead tones are crisp and clear. However, with subtler amp settings the bridge offers a bright, glassy clean tone. The middle pickup produces bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to funky rhythm tones. The neck pickup is round and powerful, great for chordal phrasings or quick jazz style lines, whilst also handling higher gain settings masterfully. The No-Load tone control is notched at '10', where it is completely removed from the circuit to ensure the tone form your pickups is completely unfettered.
Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers. We advise checking the total import cost with Customs as this is not information we are able to accurately provide.
