Here for sale we have a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass V 5-String Electric Bass in Olympic White finish. Made in the USA in 2010, this bass consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 20-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a 5-Saddle HiMass Vintage bridge, Fender "F" Light-Weight Vintage-Paddle Key tuners, and Chrome hardware. A pair of American Standard Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups are installed, and are wired to independent volume controls & a master tone
The Maple neck plays very comfortably, with Fenders Modern ‘C’ profile filling the hand in an assuring way while still allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The double cutaway body design offers extended access into the upper register. This works well with the Satin finish to the rear of the neck, allowing for smooth navigation of the 34” scale. The Medium Jumbo fret wire combined with the 9.5” radius makes for a great feel under the fingers, and provides the versatility required for a wide range of styles and techniques.
The pair of American Standard Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups installed in this instrument deliver thick and full-bodied bass tones, with plenty of warmth and clarity. This makes them extremely versatile, with plenty of rumbling low-end for heavy riffing, dark and moody sounds for smooth jazzy bass lines and plenty of sparkle and chime to capture the attack and aggression of your playing for funky parts or even punk. The controls are kept nice and simple and easy to operate, however with independent volume controls the two pickups can be blended in any combination for almost infinite tonal variety. The master tone control allows you to temper the brightness of the bridge pickup nicely or to really darken the sound of the neck.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates light scratching and indentation, most notably towards the top treble side edges. This is visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. The top edges demonstrate moderate scuffing and indentation, piercing the finish slightly.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.
Body: Overall very good condition, the front face demonstrates some light scratching and indentation, most consistent on the bass side lower bout beside the bridge where some markings pierce the top coat of finish slightly. The sides and edges demonstrate some scuffing and scratching piercing the finish, most notably to the bottom treble side edges. The rear face demonstrates light scratching and indentation throughout, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate moderate signs of use, with some flattening of the crowns throughout the register not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) not included.
Hardware: Fully functional with light signs of use, most notably scratching on the control plate.
