Here for sale we have a Fender American Series Stratocaster HSS Electric Guitar in Chrome Silver finish. Made in the USA in 2003, this guitar consists of an Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 22-fret Maple fingerboard. Other appointments include Fender locking tuners, a 2-point Synchronised Tremolo bridge, a Seymour Duncan TB-4 Humbucker in the bridge, and Custom-Staggered Tex-Mex Single Coils in the middle and neck position. These pickups are wired to a master volume, tone 1, tone 2, and a five-way pickup selector.
The Maple neck plays very well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile filling the hand nicely for a substantial grip when chord playing, yet remaining slim enough for fast articulate playing. The Maple fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius is well suited to lead lines and string bending. This paired with the Medium Jumbo frets ensures a playing experience which is perfect for the more technical Strat player. The Gloss finish to the rear of the neck is pleasant to the touch and ensures that navigation of the 25.5" scale length is an absolute breeze.
The pickups in this guitar offer a great versatile sound, they produce a mixture of sparkly tones with a hint of a darker undertones, whilst retaining clarity with each note. The Fender Player Series Alnico 2 humbucker in the bridge provides a full driving mid range with the best natural harmonic overtones, and a top end that produces a crunchy edge. The Custom-Staggered Tex-Mex Single Coil in the middle position produces a smooth single coil sound with more output and more mids, providing bright trebles and full warm bass, and lends itself well to rhythm tones. The Custom-Staggered Tex-Mex Single Coil in the neck position provides a warm, rounded sound, offering a smooth tone that handles distorted tones as well as it handles clean tones.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall very good condition. Light indentations are present to the bass side edge near the low E tuning machines, these can be seen under close scrutiny. Light paint transfer is present to the top edge of the headstock, this can be seen under close scrutiny.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light wear markings are present across the fingerboard, this is common with regular past use on Maple fingerboards.
Body: Overall very good condition. Light or mild scratching and indentations are scattered throughout the body, these can be seen under direct light at close scrutiny and do not expose the wood beneath.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. truss rod tool (1/8" hex) included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition. Several modifications have been made by a previous owner to this guitar, these include a replacement pick guard and a set of Fender locking tuning machines. All aspects of the hardware display light to mild signs of past use. Tremolo arm included.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

Fender hard case.
Overall good condition. The lid for the inside compartment is loose, with this the felt for the lid is starting to peel. A previous owner has applied stickers to the exterior lid.
Original paperwork, extra tremolo springs and tremolo arm all included.
