Here for sale we have a Fender American Professional Precision Bass in 3-Color Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2017, this bass features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 20 fret Maple fingerboard. A Nickel 4-Saddle HiMass Vintage bridge is equipped, along with a Bone nut and Chrome Lightweight Vintage-Style tuning machines. The pickup installed is a V-Mod split single-coil, which is loaded onto a 3-ply Mint Green pickguard and wired to master volume and tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the 1963 'C' profile feeling exceptionally comfortable in the hand whilst providing ergonomic thumb positioning and easy reach in all registers. The profile is based on what is widely regarded as the 'Golden' era of the P Bass in the pre-CBS years. The rear of the neck is finished in an incredibly natural-feeling Satin lacquer, and assists with smooth navigation of the 34" scale whilst also providing a smooth and tactile surface that feels great in the hand. The Lacquered Maple fingerboard with its 9.5" radius delivers a suitably vintage-inspired feel whilst remaining practical for fast, articulate playing. 
 
The V-Mod split-single-coil pickup installed in this guitar kicks out fantastic fundamental Bass tone right away, without the need to overcomplicate things. The low end is thick and heavy whilst the mids are driving and punchy. It captures the high frequencies accurately too, adding a sparkle to your sound and helping you cut through the mix. The remarkably simple control layout still offers plenty of versatility as the pots are so sensitive. Rolling back the volume will clean up your sound, whilst a great smooth jazz tone can be achieved by bringing the tone down. It's little wonder why the P Bass has been seen in the hands of everyone from Steve Harris to Suzi Quatro.
