Here for sale we have a Fender American Performer Telecaster Hum in Surf Green finish. Made in the USA in 2021, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. This guitar is fitted with Nickel/Chrome hardware, with 3-Brass Saddle Vintage-Style string-through-body bridge and Fender Classic Gear split post tuning machines. This guitar is equipped with an American Performer Double Tap Humbucker in the neck and a Yosemite Single Coil Telecaster pickup in the bridge. These are wired to a Master Volume, Master Tone (with push/pull coil split) and a 3-way blade switch.
The Maple neck plays well, with Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile feeling comfortable in the hand and offering comfortable playability in all registers. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a durable playing surface, and with its 9.5" radius strikes a nice balance between easy chord playing and practicality for lead lines and string bending. The familiar lines of the Telecaster body feel as great in the arms as ever, and provide a comfortable playing experience in both standing or seated positions.
The pickups in this guitar provide a versatile selection of tones, each one being authentically 'Tele' whilst adding some added kick when required. The Yosemite single coil pickup in the bridge position delivers all of the chime and bell like tone the Telecaster is revered for, perfect for country and blues. The Double Tap humbucking pickup in the neck position offers unique full-throated humbucking and articulate single-coil voices while eliminating volume loss in single-coil mode. A special Alnico 4 magnet creates an expressive, well-defined voice that’s highly musical and dynamic. The Greasebucket tone circuit further assists in creating a well balanced tone by adding a mid range presence to the tone, preventing the bridge pickup from becoming too piercing. A light wax potting controls runaway feedback without compromising response.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Very light indentations are apparent to the rear edge of the tip and top face near the low E tuner, only visible under direct light under close scrutiny. Any other markings to the headstock are difficult to discern.
Neck: Overall excellent condition. Some fine scratching is present to the back of the neck, most notable on the 5th fret where this has marked the fingerboard edge. A light indentation that cannot be felt beneath the finger is present to the treble side of the heel in line with the 16th fret.
Body: Overall excellent condition. A light indentation piercing the finish slightly is apparent to the bass side of the lower bout, this does not reveal the wood beneath. A small finish imperfection is present to the cutaway, this can be felt beneath the finger on inspection but in no way affects playability.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with some light indentation present in the early register, quickly improving as you climb the neck. This does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
