Here for sale we have a Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster Electric Guitar in Black finish. Made in the USA in 1998, this guitar consists of an Alder body, Maple neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Fender locking tuners, a 2-point synchronised tremolo system and a roller string tree. This guitar features a Vintage Noiseless singe coil in the bridge and two single coils in the neck and middle positions. These are wired to a 5 way switch, master volume and two tone controls.
The Maple neck plays exceptionally well, and carved into Fender's popular Modern 'C' profile, it is certainly a neck that will please the majority of players. The Gloss finish to the rear is pleasant and natural feeling in the hand, whilst also assisting with smooth navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface, and with the 9.5" radius ensures a tailored playing experience in all registers. Indeed, it is comfortable for chord playing in the lower frets whilst remaining practical for articulate lead lines and string bending as you climb the register. This is enhanced by the Medium Jumbo frets, which provide a rock-solid surface for string bending and vibrato techniques.
The trio of Single Coil pickups provide a high end tone, providing that clear step up from the Fender's in the lower price ranges. The noiseless pickup really focus the tone, creating a slicing attack in the bridge position with the classic Stratocaster twang, whilst also producing a classic throaty lead tone in the neck. They provide crisp, articulate and crystalline highs with a bell-like top end, rich in harmonics and a lively bass. A versatile instrument that provides a broad tonal palette for the user to explore.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition. All aspects of the headstock display light signs of past use.
Neck: Overall very good condition. Light delamination of the lacquer finish is present across the register to the rear of the neck, this is common with guitars of this age.
Body: Overall very good condition. All aspects of the body display light scratching which is visible under direct light, as is common with gloss finishes, this is most noticeable to the rear face.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate mild signs of use, not affecting playability. Denting and flattening of the frets is apparent throughout the register. There is moderate material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.

Truss Rod: Fully functional & adjustable. No truss rod tool included (hex 1/8")
Hardware: Overall very good condition. The original tuning machines have previously been replaced with a set of locking tuners, the original ones are not included. All other aspects of the hardware display light signs of past use. Tremolo arm included.

Strings on Guitar - 10-46
This guitar demonstrates mild fret noise which is not apparent when amplified. This noise does not affect sustain of notes, nor does it affect bending the notes. The new owner may choose to raise the action to alleviate this.

Overall very good condition and fully functional. The exterior of the case displays light to mild signs of past use, the most apparent being tarnishing and oxidation to the latches.
