Here for sale we have a Fender American Deluxe Precision Bass in 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Made in the USA in 2012, this bass consists of a Select Alder body, a Maple neck, and a 21-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a High Mass Vintage bridge, Chrome hardware, a Stealth A string retainer, rolled fingerboard edges, a Bone nut, and Fender tuning machines with an additional Fender/Hipshot D-Tuner. The pickups in this bass are a Deluxe Split Single-Coil Precision Bass Pickup, and a N3 Noiseless Jazz Bass Pickup with controls for master volume, a pan pot, 3-band EQ, and an active/passive mini toggle switch.
The Maple neck plays very comfortably, with Fenders Modern ‘C’ profile filling the hand in an assuring way while still allowing for comfortable reach in all registers and promoting ergonomic thumb positioning. The double cutaway body design offers extended access into the upper register. This works well with the satin finish to the rear of the neck, allowing for smooth navigation of the 34” scale. The Medium Jumbo fret wire combined with the 9.5” radius makes for a great feel under the fingers, and provides the versatility required for a wide range of styles and techniques
This bass is equipped with a Deluxe Split Single-Coil Precision Bass Pickup and a N3 Noiseless Jazz Bass Pickup in a PJ configuration. This is a versatile combination which delivers a deep and powerful tone; the best bits of Fender's most iconic bass guitars. They provide plenty of depth, warmth and a rounded low end that works very well with the clear, precise mids and glistening trebles. There is plenty of grunt on offer, with a fast attack that will keep your playing front and centre. The comprehensive controls offer the ability to explore every tonal option in active or passive mode, giving the player endless options.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, the top rear edge demonstrates some light indentation which does not pierce the finish. Light scratching is present to the front face of the headstock, these can only be seen under direct light, the most apparent of these can be seen to the treble side below the Made In USA logo.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, the fingerboard demonstrates very light playwear throughout, difficult to discern from the natural grain. Very light indentations are present to the treble side rear of the neck, these can be seen under close scrutiny at the 11th fret and can be slightly felt in the playing position.
Body: Overall very good condition, the rear face demonstrates light indentation to the center of the face visible only under direct lighting, consistent with buckle rash. All aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching and indentation visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, with slight indentation in the early register that does not affect playability. There is considerable material remaining for future fret work.
Current Set Up:
Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (3/16" hex) included.
Hardware: Overall very good condition and fully functional. The original tuning machines have been swapped with a set of Fender branded machines with an addition of a Fender/Hipshot De-tuner for the low E tuning machine, the original tuning machines are not included. The original pickguard has been previously changed to a tortoiseshell pick guard, the original is not included. Light to mild tarnishing can be seen to all aspects of the metal hardware, this is most apparent to the bridge.
Structural: No concerns or issues to note.
