Here for sale we have a Fender 75th Anniversary Stratocaster in Diamond Anniversary finish. Made in Mexico in 2020, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising an Alder body, Maple neck and 22 Medium Jumbo fret Maple fingerboard. The neck plate carries a 'Fender 75th Anniversary' badge, commemorating 75 years since the company was originally founded. The hardware features consists of a Chrome 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Bent Steel saddles and Fender Sealed tuning machines. A trio of Fender Vintage-Style '60s Strat single-coils pickups are installed and are wired to a 5-way blade switch, master volume, neck/middle tone and bridge tone controls.
The Maple neck plays very well, with the Modern 'C' shape profile feeling moderately-sized in the hand for a well-balanced playing experience. Substantial enough for a firm grip when chord playing, yet slim enough to facilitate fast articulate lead lines and solos. The Maple fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with the 9.5" radius provides a nicely flat and consistent playing surface right the way up the register. The Medium Jumbo frets assist with string bending and vibrato techniques, whilst also adding a sense of rock-solid dependability to the playing experience.
The trio of Fender Vintage-Style '60s Strat single-coil pickups installed in this guitar deliver incredibly clean, crisp and precise Stratocaster tones, just as you would expect from a guitar of this prestige. The neck is warm and round, with plenty of power to push your lead and solo tones to the front of the mix. The middle position is bright and spanky, perfect for those funky rhythm sounds. The bridge pickup is hotter, and provides a searing yet articulate tone that is well suited to rock riffs and rhythm parts. The wiring layout allows you independent control of the neck/middle pickup tone, meaning you can achieve a really unique 'scooped' tone in position 4, as well as a nice smooth sound in the bridge position when required.
