Here for sale we have a Guitarras Cuenca Mod 70-Fc Flamenco guitar in Gloss Natural finish. Made in Spain, this guitar features an all-solid Spanish heel construction comprising a German Spruce top, Cypress back and sides, Mahogany neck and 22 fret Ebony fingerboard. The body is double-bound in hat appears to be Rosewood, matching the headstock overlay & bridge. A set of Gold-plated tuning machines are fitted to the slotted headstock.

The Mahogany neck plays very well, with a profile that feels traditional for a flamenco guitar, offering a nicely flattened spot to the centre for the thumb to rest. The gloss finish to the rear assists with smooth navigation of the 25.6" scale, whilst the flat fingerboard and 2.094" nut width continue the traditional feel of the instrument and provides very practical string separation for accurate fretting.

The voice of the Cuenca Mod 70-Fc is open and clear, delivering an unpronounced yet detailed low end, a precise mid range and a sparkling top end that brightens up the overall sound of the instrument. This makes the guitar equally at home as a solo instrument or part of an ensemble. The German Spruce top projects very well, and offers a wide dynamic range that feels very sensitive to the player's touch. This is a finely crafted Flamenco guitar with traditional appointments, perfect for any flamenco or classical musician.

    Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall very good condition, the tuning post cavities demonstrate light indentations that pierce the finish.

Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.

Body: Overall excellent condition, a small hairline finish crack is apparent at the joint between body and neck heel. This is due to differing expansion rates of the woods and does not pose a structural concern. The front face demonstrates very consistent scratching in the playing area near the bridge and soundhole, however due to the large clear pickguard this has not damaged the finish.
