Here for sale we have an EVH SA-126 Standard electric guitar in Piano Black finish. The SA-126 was introduced in 2025 as an innovative new instrument which marries the best of solid body & semi-hollow construction, as well as specs and features usually associated with high-performance instruments. Designed in collaboration with Wolfgang Van Halen, this is the latest & greatest offering from the EVH brand. Made in Indonesia in 2025, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a semi-hollow Mahogany body with Mahogany centre block & Maple top, Baked Maple neck & 22 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a ToM bridge & stop tail, and EVH Keystone tuning machines. A pair of passive EVH SA-126 humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch & independent volume & tone controls. 
 
The Baked Maple neck plays very well, with the EVH Modified 'C' Backshape filling the hand nicely for a substantial yet articulate playing experience across the register. Certainly slimmer than we would expect on some more traditional semi-hollow instruments, the playing experience strikes a perfect balance between lead-focussed speediness and practicality for chordal rhythm playing. The Rosewood fretboard is pleasant under the fingers, and with its 12"-16" compound radius is tailored for rhyhtm playing in the lower register and fast lead lines as you climb the neck. The Jumbo frets enhance the feel of string bending & vibrato techniques. 
 
Thanks to its semi-hollow construction, the SA-126 delivers a nicely open & airy tone whilst retaining the tightness of a solid body instrument. There's also plenty of dynamic range on offer, allowing you to achieve a range of tones just from the power in your right hand. The EVH SA-126 passive humbucking pickups deliver thick & full bodied tones, with bags of power to push your playing to the front of the mix. The neck position is round & warm, and works beautifully well for lead lines & solos. There's more brightness & bite on offer from the bridge- perfect for rhythm parts & riffs. A seriously interesting & exciting new offering from EVH that is sure to help you stand out from the crowd, both aesthetically & sonically.
