ESP LTD M-100FM See-Thru Black 2006 Electric Guitar
Here for sale we have an ESP LTD M-100FM electric guitar in See-Thru Black finish. Made in the Korean Peerless factory in 2006, this guitar features a bolt-on construction comprising a Basswood body with Flamed Maple top, Maple neck and 24 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black Nickel hardware is fitted including a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system & LTS sealed tuning machines. A pair of ESP-Designed passive humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way blade switch, master volume & master tone controls. 
 
The Maple neck plays very well, with the Extra Thin 'U' profile feeling nicely slender and manoeuvrable in the hand for a smooth & articulate playing experience across the register. The smooth satin finish to the rear assists with navigation of the 25.5" scale. The Rosewood of the fingerboard is nice & dark in appearance, adding a sense of luxury & providing a smooth & durable playing surface. The radius is rather flat at 13.78", and along with the XJ frets make lead techniques a breeze. The gently sculpted neck heel works in conjunction with the generous double cutaways to ensure that fret access is unrestricted right up to the 24th. 
 
Amplified, the pair of ESP-Designed passive humbucking pickups deliver thick, crushing tones, just as we expect from a shred-focussed guitar. They can handle a serious amount of gain, meaning that saturated lead tones are well within reach. The neck is round and powerful, driving lead lines right to the front of the mix. The bridge is of course brighter, making your rhythm parts & riffs  sound clear & articulate. The controls respond well to small changes, allowing you to dial in the perfect tone whilst playing. A typically well-made instrument from ESP LTD at an impressive price point.

    Aesthetic Condition:

    Headstock: Overall very good condition. A mild chip is present at the treble side front edge beside the B tuning post. The tip shows indentation and chipping, resulting in a mildly rough surface. The front face shows light to mild scratching, as is common with high gloss finishes. 

     

    Neck: Overall excellent condition, it is difficult to discern any markings to the neck and fingerboard.

     

    Body: Overall very good condition. Light to mild scratching is apparent across all aspects of the body, most notably at the treble side waist of the front face consistent with playwear. A light indentation very lightly pierces the finish at the side of the instrument near the output jack. 

     

    Condition of Frets:

    The frets demonstrate very light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any future fret work the new owner may wish to perform. 

     

    Current Set Up:

    Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss rod tool (4mm hex) not included.

    Hardware: Very good condition with mild tarnishing of the tremolo bridge & neck plate. 

    Structural: No concerns or issues to note.

    Height of the string from the 12th Fret-1.25mm - Bass 1.75mm
