Here for sale we have an ESP LTD EC-50 electric guitar in Black Gloss finish. Made in Indonesia in 2004, this guitar features a bolt-on neck construction comprising a Basswood body, Maple neck and 24 Jumbo fret Rosewood fingerboard. Black Nickel hardware is fitted, including a TOM style bridge and stopbar tailpiece, along with a set of sealed ESP tuning machines. A pair of passive ESP LH 150 humbucking pickups are installed, and are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, independent volumes and a master tone control.
The Maple neck plays very well, with a profile resembling a ‘C’ feeling nicely slim and articulate in the hand. The neck remains substantial enough to sustain a firm grip for chord playing, whilst offering practicality for fast technical playing. The Rosewood fingerboard provides a smooth and durable playing surface right the way up the register, and with its 12" radius and extra jumbo frets delivers a rock-solid playing experience with enhanced string bending and vibrato feel.
The pair of ESP LH 150 humbucking pickups installed in this guitar deliver thick and crushing tones, well suited to heavy rock, metal and thrash genres. The neck pickup is round and full bodied, and with plenty of power to push your solo tones to the front of the mix. The bridge pickup is brighter, and with a hotter output can easily push your amp into a searing, saturated distortion tone. The controls are nice and simple whilst offering plenty of scope for tone-shaping. The first volume control is actually for the bridge pickup, which is a common feature on metal oriented guitars, allowing you to easily dial in your perfect sound on the pickup which gets the heaviest use.

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the headstock demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Neck: Overall excellent condition, the rear of the neck demonstrates very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. This cannot be felt under the thumb in playing position.
Body: Overall excellent condition, all aspects of the body demonstrate very light scratching visible only under direct lighting at certain angles. Some light indentation is apparent to the lower bout on both the front and rear faces, visible only under direct lighting at certain angles.
Condition of Frets:
The frets demonstrate light signs of use, not affecting playability. There is considerable material remaining for any fret work the new owner may wish to perform.
