Here for sale we have an ESP LTD EC-400 electric guitar in Black Pearl Fade Metallic finish. Made in Indonesia in 2020, this guitar features a set-thru construction comprising a Mahogany body, 3pc Mahogany neck and 24 fret Pau Ferro fingerboard. Black hardware is fitted including a T-O-M style bridge and stop-bar tailpiece, along with a set of sealed Grover tuning machines. A pair of active EMG humbucking pickups are installed, with a 60 in the neck and 81 in the bridge. These are wired to a 3-way toggle switch, neck volume, bridge volume and master tone controls. 
 
The 3pc Mahogany neck is carved into a Thin ‘U’ profile that feels quick and smooth in the hand. It lends itself well to faster styles of playing whilst providing ample thickness for power chords. The smooth contours of the Mahogany body sit comfortably in the arms, with the generous contours enhancing comfort on long gigs. The single cutaway and sculpted neck heel provide uninhibited access to the higher register, which is fantastic for those fast, progressive styles of playing. 
 
The Active EMG humbuckers produce thick and full-bodied tones with plenty of aggression; just as we expect from active EMGs. The 60 in the neck offers boosted mids, big lows and fat highs, and is perfect for rock and metal lead tones with plenty of power to blast you solos to the front of the mix. The 81 in the bridge position delivers a searing distortion tone that works fantastically well for rock and metal rhythm parts and riffs, handling more gain than can possibly be necessary! A very well made instrument with appointments above its price point.
