Here for sale we have an ESP LTD B-205SMFL Fretless 5-String Electric Bass in Natural Satin finish. Made in Indonesia in 2016, this bass consists of an Ash body with a Spalted Maple top, a 5-piece Maple/Jatoba neck, and a 24-fret fretless Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include Black Nickel hardware, an LTD BB-605 bridge, and Black Chrome LTD tuners. The pickups installed are a set of ESP Designed SB-5 pickups with controls for volume, balance, and a three-band EQ.
The 5-piece Maple/Jatoba neck plays very well, with its Thin ‘U’ profile feeling smooth and responsive making for an efficient playing experience, whilst the fifth string is super easy to fret thanks to the easy-to-grip neck. The satin finish to the rear of the neck feels pleasing under the thumb and enhances transitions up and down the neck whilst the double cut design of the body makes for great access to the higher register. The 15.75" fingerboard radius allows for a quick and easy feel, great for faster lines.
The ESP Designed SB-5 pickups have a well rounded tone, with a solid and commanding low end, a tight and punchy midrange, along with clear and cutting highs. The active controls offer a plethora of tonal options, allowing you to take full control of your sound with a 3-band active EQ, great for sculpting out the perfect tone for any playing situation. Overall a really solid workhorse fretless bass with a lovely modern feel!

Aesthetic Condition:
Headstock: Overall good condition. Delamination of the finish is apparent surrounding the low B winding post. All aspects of the headstock demonstrate some chipping to the finish, most notably to the very tip of the top edge.
Neck: Overall very good condition. The fingerboard demonstrates light indentations throughout from previous round wound strings. The rear of the neck demonstrates light to mild scratching and indentations throughout, most notably behind the 5th fret.
Body: Overall very good condition. The sides demonstrate some light indentations and scratching, most notably to the bass side of the lower bout. The rear face demonstrates light to mild scratching and indentations, most notably near the low B string through hole, where the finish has been marked but not removed.
